I am the author of ten books of poetry and my latest collection, Shelf, is available from Sagging Meniscus Press in New Jersey. My work has been translated into French and Portuguese, and for several years I taught creative writing at NYU Paris. In 2019 I was chosen to represent Paris in the final of the Trans-Europe Expression Poetry Slam. You can order all my books via the poetry section of this site.
I am co-creator and lead actor in the experimental film, Coldhearts: a poetical – like a musical but where poetry drives the feeling and form, the colour and chemistry of the cinematic process. You can also see me in Mikhaël Hers’ film, “Les Passagers de la nuit” which premiered at the Berlinale in 2022. I am currently working as the stand-in for Ben Mendelsohn on the Apple TV+ series “The New Look”.
I also write journalism, primarily on topics relating to the environment. My articles have been published by The Stanford Social Innovation Review and in the award-winning Canadian newspaper, The National Observer. You can read a few sample articles in the prose section of this site.
I work as a voice-over actor too, and have dubbed documentaries for Arte and Amazon Prime. If you are looking for a voice – British but not too British, with a medium-deep register – then listen to my voice reels and, if you like what you hear, drop me a line!
